About This Tournament

Welcome to the PARAGON JUNIOR OPEN - SUMMER EVENT! TOURNAMENT SUMMARY This is a PARAGON PICKLEBALL junior tournament with singles and doubles events for players ages 7 to 17. Events are divided into age groups, 10U/12U/14U/17U with boys and girls options. Events may become co-ed if needed based on number of registrations. Medals will be awarded for GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE! Players may play up in age, but not down, and sign up for one event each day. Matches will be posted to DUPR (mydupr.com). It's not required to have a DUPR account but is suggested. Players will need to have a profile on pickleballtournaments.com. REGISTRATION \u0026 EVENT FEES Early Bird Registration: $45 up to June 1st Normal Registration: $55 June 2nd to Registration Close *Event fees are an additional $25/event EVENT \u0026 MATCH FORMATS Event format will be round robin for for all events. Events may be split into to different levels or combined with other events if needed or appropriate. Non-rated players may be placed in there own group if needed or appropriate and likewise with DUPR rated players. Match formats will either be best 2 out 3 games to 11 points win by 2 points, 1 game to 15 points win by 2 points, or 1 game to 11 points win by 2 points. Please Note: Tournament director has the discretion to change event or match formats before or during the tournament especially due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Refund Policy

*Up to registration closing registrants may withdraw/cancel and receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee if withdrawing for one event or minus a $10 processing fee, if withdrawing from 2 events or more. *Once registration closes there are no refunds for any reason except rain. If you do need to withdraw please do so. *If rain affects an event's completion, the following refund policy will be honored... a. 0 matches played: Event fee refunded and registration fee refunded less $10 processing, event fee only refunded if player registered for an additional event b. 1 match played: Event fee only will be refunded c. 2 matches or more have been played: No refund Please note: Last minute withdrawals, player retirements/withdrawals for any reason during tournament competition, or no shows before or during tournament competition, that affect an event's total number of matches played are not refundable causes. The above rain refund policy applies to rain only. In the event of other weather or natural disasters there are no refunds. All qualifying refunds will be processed no later than 2 weeks after the tournament's completion.
